(Potts-town)
Tournament has wrapped up, Potts-town coming out on top of West Chester Final in a physical played game. The score ended at 89-81. Not much to say about this game, defiantly some heated flares sparked up but at the end of the day it all comes with the love of the game.

Eligio Bailey? (West Chester Final vs Yeadon)

Eligio Bailey, a 5'8 2012 PG of Central, HS (PA), showcased his game with "West Chester Final" along other top ranked high-school contenders around the area. Eligio B, displayed his brilliant passing repertoire, his crisp ball handling and his silky sweet jump shot both on and off the bounce. Proving to be one of the most unselfish players in the tournament, "E" as he likes to be called, also picked and chose his spots to score where he did at a high percentage.
Now I'm not the type of "blogger" to do blogs about just anybody but this kid has skills. I tracked him down after his performance was over to get to know him a little bit. Well-spoken kid, I must say. We had a little talk about school and he's actually finishing his academic year online, he told me about his experience at Central, HS (PA) spring league. "It was the greatest basketball experience I've had so far, they taught me so much on & off the court" ending with "It was only for one year, but if it was up to me I would do it all over again".
Lets get into his game performance, I've gotten side-tracked a little bit because he is a humble person all-around and I absolutely love that. ALRIGHT!
"West Chester Final" started off a little shaky against Yeadon, only scoring 21 in the first half trailing by 14 at half-time.
The Tide turned, Yeadon turn the ball over 17 times and Eligio Bailey poured in a game-high 30 points to lift "WCF" to a 75-62 victory over Yeadon.
Quickly Bailey clarified he had to sit the next game due to ankle and back aches. Sad story.
Now do you see why I'm talking about this kid so much?
Did I mention this guy can shoot the lights out? No! Did I mention this guy has awesome court vision? Or Did I mention West Chester RAMS are looking at this kid? Well now you know, I'll have a new post with the stats later on.

Sharon-Hill Vs. Coastville

Great game from the start, Coast-Ville came out delivering shots from all angles. Three after three, you would think after about the third three sharon-hill would come out of their 2-3 zone. Whelp! THEY DID, man to man full court soon as the second half started the game started to even out. As the last minutes of the second half started to wind down, everyone in the gym stood up to see Brandon Juiler from Sharon-hill dribble out the clock for the last shot. 5 seconds left he pulls a PRAYER from NBA range for the win! Missed ! And Coast-Ville takes the win, with the final score ending at 76-78. Good performance by both teams.

WCU Classic Tournament (Hosted by West Chester University)

A city rich with history continues a Christmas sports tradition with the return of the West Chester University Classic AAU Tournament.
The WCU Classic is an event, which allows teams to play two games at participating schools before moving to the Palestra on Christmas weekend. This format guarantees each team four games and allows fans to see six games over two days at the Palestra.
In addition to the great players and teams in this year’s event, there is another star; The Palestra. Since opening its doors in 1927, the Palestra has hosted more college basketball games, more NCAA Tournament games, more visiting teams, and more spectators of college basketball than any other arena in the world.  Watching a collegiate basketball game at the famous arena is an experience matched only by attending celebrated facilities such as Wrigley Field, Lambeau Field or Madison Square Garden.  The WCU Classic is proud to add to the grand history of the Palestra and to Philadelphia’s sports traditions.
